This page describes the methods of managing the website with reference to the processing of personal data of users who consult it.
The privacy policy is provided in accordance with Art. 13 of European Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereafter GDPR) to those who interact with the website pages.
The privacy policy is provided only for the Cidiu spa website and not for any other websites consulted using links from this website.
The privacy policy is also based upon Recommendation no. 2/2001 which the European Authorities for personal data protection, meeting in the Working Party established by Art. 29 of Directive no. 95/46/EC, adopted on 17 May 2001 to identify some minimum requirements for collecting personal data on-line and, in particular, the methods, timescales and nature of information that data controllers must provide to users when they connect to web pages, irrespective of the purposes of the connection.

Processing methods

The personal data are processed using automated tools, observing specific security measures to prevent the loss of data, unlawful or incorrect uses and unauthorised accesses.

Storage period
The data are retained and stored for the time required for the purposes for which they were collected.

The Data Controller may store the personal data for longer in the following circumstances:

  • when the processing is based upon the consent of the user and the erasure occurs with the explicit withdrawal of consent;
  • when the Controller is required to store the personal data in compliance with a legal obligation or by order of an authority.  At the end of the storage period, the personal data will be erased.

Location

Processing connected to web services of this website takes place at the Controller’s operating headquarters and is performed by technical/administrative personnel, or by those performing occasional maintenance operations.
No data deriving from the web service are communicated or disseminated externally to the company. Personal data provided by users sending requests for information and/or services are used for the sole purpose of carrying out the requested service or performance and are communicated to third parties only if this is necessary for that purpose.

Data sent voluntarily by the user

The optional, explicit and voluntary transmission of email to the addresses indicated on this website involves the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the communication.
Data entered in forms found on the website for sending requests for information and services, will be acquired subject to your acceptance of personal data processing.
Specific summary information is noted or displayed on the website pages prepared for particular services upon request.

Optional provision of data

Aside from what is specified for browsing data, the user is free to provide the personal data noted in any information/services request forms. Any failure to provide them may involve the impossibility of obtaining what is requested.

Purpose of processing the data collected

The user’s data are collected to allow the Controller to provide its services, as well as for statistical purposes and to contact the user who has requested information and/or services through forms or by sending emails.
The types of personal data used for each purpose are indicated in the specific sections of this document.

Rights of the user

The data subjects have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of whether or not those data exist and to know of their content and origin, to verify their accuracy or to request their supplementation or update, or rectification (article 7 of the Privacy Code).
In accordance with that article, the data subjects also have the right to request the erasure, anonymisation or block on data processed in violation of the law, as well as to object in any case, for legitimate reasons, to their processing.
